This blog was originally created for a a college course on Information Access and Technology, but it has evolved into a medium for occasional music and column postings as well as its original purpose.
The Anonymous Librarian (otherwise known as Bethany Lange) has intends for this blog to be academic, thoughtful, and as well written as possible -- even when some posts are silly.
About the Author
When the "Anonymous Librarian" originally created this blog, she was a full-time college student, a part-time violin teacher, and a part-part-time math tutor for GED students. She now works full-time as a newspaper reporter (and unofficial assistant editor/designer). She is still a part-time violin teacher and the concertmistress of her community orchestra and does some freelance editing, photography, and other music work on the side.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with family, read, play Baroque music on her violin and viola (and sometimes a bit on the cello), have fascinating theological discussions, and rant about books and book covers. Her current goal is to become an editor, but the most fabulous job she can think of is one that combines music, art, and literature. All at the same time.
